I've tried uninstalling the pre-installed office , and used the windows removal fix, which removed all traces of office but didn't help I've tried msconfig and disabling all the startup items, and reinstalling - this didn't work I've tried deleting the regedit data this also didn't work. I have the same problem.
When I purchased the program through work it was a download. That was in January and I don't have the key any longer. How should I repair the program? I can see it all on the computer but I get an error message when I try to repair and cannot find a "setup" file. Same message Something went wrong. In reply to PaulaFulce's post on January 18, I download loaded Microsoft Office professional plus. I t did not work properly, so I removed it and tried to re install it said the product key was wrong. I tried to talk to Microsoft, they cut me off 3 times.
